Pre-launch announcement
It has been a dream of NCRM for long, to start an exclusive online journal for students of Medicine, life sciences and Biotechnology, the budding scientists and future pillars of health care, to make them understand the importance of scientific publication, train and equip them with good documentation, analysis and publishing skills and bring out the best of them so that the whole world may know about their innovative work, they might have done.
As we are preparing to launch an online journal in a short while from now, we request you to kindly send articles of the following nature to us for the publication in the first issue on or before 20th of September 2006.
1. Review articles
2. Original articles
3. Brief manuscript of your dissertation & Project work
4. Opinion & letter to the Editor
As the name of the journal says, it is on Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine. Therefore articles in one of the above four categories in the subjects viz., (i) History and Development of Stem cells & Regenerative Medicine, (ii) Cell Biology, (iii) Molecular Biology, (iv) Developmental Biology, (v) Cancer Biology, (vi) Immunology, (vii) Cancer Stem Cells, (viii) Cell Culture, (ix) Tissue Engineering, (x) Animal Experiments, Clinical Trials and Clinical Applications Using Stem Cells, (xi) Basic & Applied Cell Therapeutics and (xii) Nanotechnology, can be accepted subject to Peer review and also it must be a original one.
Each article should have clear background information, materials and methods, results and discussion. The references should also be fully cited. Accepted articles for publication will need a copyright acceptance form to be signed by the respective candidate.
Other criteria for submission:
1. The submitting first author MUST be a bonafide student or trainee (Including undergraduate, postgraduate students, research fellowship holders receiving stipends and PhD students) of any institute (private/public), in any part of the world. Post Doctoral Fellowship holders cannot be first authors.
2. The manuscript should be typed in MS word doc in 12 size Arial font and should not exceed 6 pages in standard A4 sheet (Total words maximum 3500). References list can be additional. A separate abstract of total words not exceeding 300 words should be in the starting of the article.
3. Maximum no. of images inclusive of tables could be 8 or less and images to be sent in JPG format separately with image files saved with the figure or table number as file names prefixed with first author's name.

5. For your article to be published (if accepted) in the first issue, it should reach us on or before the 25th of September 2006.
